Generations Child Care is licensed to care for 45 children, aged 6 weeks to 5 years old. Three, vibrant, children-centered classrooms are divided between infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Generations Child Care offers age-specific curriculum and activities, In addition to the planned activities and programs with our elders (who we call our Grandfriends!)
Children learn best in a nurturing, child-initiated play-based environment that fosters self-confidence, trust, creativity, autonomy and acceptance of individual differences. The staff at Generations establishes positive personal interaction, nurturing each child's growth and education. We plan for all areas of a child's development and education: cognitive, emotional, social, creative, and physical. Individuality is acknowledged and respected as each child explores a child-centered environment at her or his own pace. A strong sense of identity and competence is developed as children are helped to feel good about themselves, their abilities, and uniqueness. Each classroom at the center will implement developmentally appropriate practices, achieving curriculum goals in the context of a caring community of learners in which all children can develop.
Age-specific curriculum and activities
Throughout the week, the children and elders come together in a variety of pre-planned, supervised activities such as music, gardening, dancing, art, lunch, storytelling, walks, and many more fun interactions! The pre-planned activities result in purposeful interaction between our children and elders that is beneficial to all.
Our Generations children are exposed to and learn about the aging process, learn how to interact with people with disabilities, be involved with people from a different generation and feel comfortable and safe around our Grandfriends.

My son started coming shortly after they opened. He has absolutely loved it! The staff are super welcoming and caring. They take great care of the kids! They have this awesome app where they let you know what events and activities your child has done, what they ate, and add pictures to. Just an overall great experience and activities with the granfriends which is one of my favorite things that makes Generations so much better.

This place was exactly what my family needed! My 4 year old daughter started there maybe 2 weeks after they opened. She absolutely loves going in the morning (she asks to go on the weekends). The staff are amazing, and the extended hours are a godsend. I love that she gets to interact and do activities with her grandfriends. What they have going there is truly a blessing for all generations, and I hope we see more places like this in the future!
